Madrino Poll Merinos

Over recent years, Evan and Ruth have being steadily moving towards a full Poll Merino stud flock. They have also introduced performance breeding into their stud program. Evan has reduced the stud ewe flock from 1000 to 350 ewes, with a selection criteria based on micron and comfort factor and eye muscle and bodyweight measurements.

All stud Merino ewes are now under 21 micron and above 98.7pc comfort factor. Wallaloo Park, Nepowie, Monarch Zero and Madrino make up the Poll Merino bloodlines.
